This genuine Audi steering tie rod boot (OEM 8W0423831) is a used part, ready for installation on either the left or right side. Its job is to seal the tie rod end, keeping out road grit and moisture. When the boot tears, contamination can wear the joint, causing steering slack and eventual component failure. Fits a range of Audi models including the A4, A5, S4, S5, and RS5, with engines from the 2.0L turbo to the 3.0L supercharged and turbocharged V6s.
