Volkswagen steering tie rod with boot, OEM part number 1K0423811G, is a used genuine component removed from a donor vehicle. This left-side tie rod (also called a steering tie rod end or drag link) connects the steering rack to the wheel hub, controlling toe angle and steering response. When worn, it can cause loose steering, clunking noises over bumps, or uneven front tire wear. Designed for Volkswagen Passat and Passat CC models with either the 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder or the 3.6L naturally aspirated V6 engine.
