BMW steering tie rod with boot, OEM part number 6777479, is a used genuine replacement for models including the 5 Series and 6 Series, as well as M5 and M6. This tie rod assembly also supersedes numbers 6774347 and 6762403, and fits left or right side. It connects the steering rack to the steering knuckle, controlling toe alignment; a worn joint often causes loose steering, clunking over bumps, or uneven tire wear. The included boot protects the ball joint from debris and moisture.
