This is a used OEM Audi steering tie rod with boot, part number 4M0423811D, removed from a donor vehicle. It also replaces 4M0423811B and 4M0423811C. This left-side tie rod connects the steering rack to the wheel hub, controlling directional stability. A worn boot or loose joint causes steering play, wandering, or clunking noises over bumps. It fits multiple Audi models with engines including the 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder, 2.9L, 3.0L, and 4.0L V8s—both gas and mild-hybrid configurations.
