A used OEM BMW Steering Wheel Vibro / Vibration Motor, genuine part number 6797916, also replaces 6797916. This motor generates the haptic feedback in the steering wheel, alerting the driver to lane departure or collision warnings. When it fails, the steering wheel may no longer vibrate during active safety alerts, reducing driver awareness. It was removed from a BMW X5 or X6 donor vehicle.
