A BMW 6850961 genuine OEM front left strut / shock absorber — a used unit removed from a donor vehicle. This original-equipment component also supersedes numbers 6863125 and 6859779. Manufactured for the 640i and 650i models equipped with either the N55 3.0L turbocharged inline-six or the N63 4.4L twin-turbo V8. A deteriorating strut often causes excessive body roll, uneven tire wear, or a bouncy ride as damping diminishes.
