This left-side brace connects the strut towers to stiffen the front chassis, reducing body flex during cornering for sharper handling. It fits G30/G31/G32 5 Series and G11/G12 7 Series models, including the 640i xDrive Gran Turismo, 740i, 750i xDrive, and Alpina B7, with 3.0L inline-6 or 4.4L V8 engines. When the brace is missing or loose, you may notice increased cowl shake or vague steering response over bumps.
