It replaces OEM numbers 7L6129601AS, 7L6129601R, 7L6129607G, and 7L6129601G. The lower half houses the filter element and seals the intake tract; a cracked or warped housing can let unfiltered air bypass the filter, leading to turbo or engine wear.
