BMW Thermostat, used genuine OEM part number 7601158. This NRF thermostat controls coolant flow to maintain proper engine operating temperature. A failing unit can cause overheating or slow warm-up, especially on turbocharged inline-six and bi-turbo V8 applications. It was removed from a 3.0L N54/N55 engine and also fits the 4.4L N63 V8 in selected models. Because there are no superseded part numbers, verify with 7601158 for direct replacement.
