Genuine BMW Timing Chain Tensioner, OEM part number 1439552. This used component was removed from a donor vehicle. The tensioner maintains proper chain slack in the N62 and N62TU 4.4L and 4.8L V8 engines. A failing tensioner can cause a rattling noise on startup as oil pressure drops, allowing the chain to slap.
