This used OEM BMW Trailer / Tow Hitch Assembly, originally removed from a donor vehicle, carries part number 2990173 and also replaces 2990173. Designed for BMW X1 models with either the 2.0L 1997CC turbocharged I4 or the 3.0L 2979CC turbocharged I6, this hitch provides a factory-style mounting point for towing accessories. A common failure point is corrosion on the receiver or wiring harness connector, which can cause intermittent trailer light operation.
