Used BMW transfer case actuator motor, OEM part number 9470186, also replaces 9469023, 8740624, 8485040, 8697724, and 8687376. This motor controls the transfer case's mode selection, shifting between two-wheel and all-wheel drive. When it fails, the drivetrain may lock in one mode or trigger a transfer case malfunction warning. This part must be coded to the vehicle's VIN on install by a qualified shop or dealer.
