This used genuine BMW transmission mount bracket, OEM 6789483 (also replaces 6775907), serves as the crossmember supporting the transmission from below. A failing bracket can cause driveline vibration, clunking during shifts, or misalignment of the mount, especially under load from turbocharged V8, V12, and inline-6 engines. Designed for rear-drive models that share this steel crossmember, it maintains proper drivetrain geometry and reduces noise transfer into the chassis.
