It manages transmission-fluid temperature on 3.0–4.5L gasoline and diesel V6/V8 engines from Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne, and VW Touareg. When the cooler fails, fluid can leak or the transmission may overheat, causing slipping or harsh shifts.
