This return tube carries hot transmission fluid back from the cooler to the transmission. A cracked or corroded line can cause fluid loss and transmission overheating, leading to shifting issues or damage. Originally fitted to 4.0L twin-turbo V8 and 4.8L V8 applications including mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants.
