This part regulates transmission fluid temperature on 3.0–4.5L V6 and V8 engines, both diesel and gas. When the thermostat fails, the cooler may stay fully open or closed, leading to sluggish shifting or overheating. Genuine VW/Audi/Porsche unit, direct bolt-in.
