This used OEM Audi transmission shield / plate, part number 420301325B, is a genuine aluminum guard that protects the underside of the R8’s gearbox. Also called a transmission plate, it bolts directly to the subframe to shield against road debris and impact damage—critical given the R8’s low stance. Originally fitted to both 4.2L V8 and 5.2L V10 models, this shield can become bent or cracked from curbs or debris strikes, leaving the transmission vulnerable.
