This used OEM BMW transmission shifter mount/bracket, OEM part number 6971727, secures the gear selector assembly to the transmission tunnel. Also known simply as the shifter bracket, it prevents excessive play or slop in the shift lever. When this bracket fatigues or cracks, the shifter may feel loose, vibrate, or misalign during gear changes. Removed from a donor vehicle.
