This used OEM BMW transmission torque converter (OEM 8612863, also supersedes 7613251) is a direct mechanical replacement for the 4.4L turbocharged hybrid V8. It transfers engine torque to the transmission via fluid coupling. A failing torque converter often causes shuddering, slipping, or overheating, especially under load.
