This used OEM Porsche transmission valve body (Mechatronic unit), part number PAB92715610, controls shift timing and hydraulic pressure in the automatic transmission. It’s a genuine removed component, not an aftermarket rebuild. Commonly called the mechatronic, it governs gear engagement and torque converter lockup. If it fails, symptoms include harsh or delayed shifts, slipping, or a transmission warning lamp. This unit requires coding to the vehicle’s VIN upon installation by a qualified shop.
