A used OEM Audi transmission valve body / mechatronic unit, OEM number 8W0927158C. Also known as the mechatronic, it controls shift timing and hydraulic pressure inside the transmission. When this unit fails, common symptoms include harsh, delayed, or erratic shifting. This unit requires coding to the vehicle/VIN after installation—have a qualified shop or dealer perform the programming. It was removed from a late-model Audi S4 or S5 equipped with either the 2.0L turbocharged or 3.0L supercharged/turbocharged engine family.
