BMW trunk hatch latch / lock actuator (OEM 7206579) – a used genuine part. This is the electric release mechanism for the tailgate, also known as the lock actuator. It replaces 7308849 and 7234379. When the latch fails, the trunk may not close securely or the release button may stop working. This actuator ensures the hatch locks and unlocks properly on your BMW X5.
