This used BMW trunk lid smart opener control module (OEM 7451529) controls hands-free trunk access via kick sensor or remote. It’s a genuine used OEM unit from a donor vehicle. The module also replaces a series of earlier part numbers including 7496165 and 7491439. After installation, the module must be coded to your vehicle’s VIN by a qualified shop. When this control module fails, the trunk may not open automatically or respond to the foot gesture.
