Used BMW trunk lid strut / shock (electric), OEM part number 7373438. This is the left-side electric lift support for the trunk, originally removed from a donor vehicle. It provides powered opening and closing assistance for the trunk lid. A failing unit may cause the trunk to open slowly, not open fully, or fail to close properly. This part fits multiple 5-series models with various engine options including the 2.0L turbo four, 3.0L six-cylinder gas, diesel, and hybrid, as well as the 4.4L V8.
