This is a used factory Audi trunk strut set (left and right) with OEM part number 4H0827551B, pulled from a donor vehicle. Also called trunk shocks, these gas-charged struts lift and hold the trunk lid open. When they weaken, the lid won’t stay up, often dropping on its own. This set fits both sides on the A8 and S8 models with a range of six- and eight-cylinder engines including the 3.0L diesel/supercharged V6, 4.0L turbo V8, 4.2L V8, and 6.3L W12.
