A BMW turbo blow-off valve, OEM part number 7609210, is a genuine used component removed from a donor vehicle. This valve (also supersedes 11657609210) releases excess boost pressure when the throttle closes, preventing compressor surge. A failing blow-off valve can cause a noticeable loss of power or a fluttering/hissing sound from the intake. This unit came from various BMW models equipped with turbocharged N20, N26, B48, S55, or N74 engines. It must be properly seated and sealed during install.
