This used genuine BMW turbo coolant pipe (OEM 9488188, also replaces 11538629972) routes coolant to and from the turbocharger to keep it at proper operating temperature. Also known as a turbo coolant tube or line, a failure here often causes visible coolant leaks or can lead to turbo overheating. It was removed from a BMW equipped with either the 1.5L turbo three-cylinder (including the PHEV variant) or the 2.0L turbo four-cylinder.
