This is a used OEM BMW turbocharger wastegate, part number 7576985, removed from a donor vehicle. It also replaces numbers 7646092, 4615206, 7590598, and 4571543. This component controls exhaust gas flow to regulate boost pressure on the 4.4L V8 twin-turbo and 4.8L V8 engines. A failing wastegate often causes a loss of power, turbo lag, or a rattling sound from the exhaust.
