This is a used, genuine OEM BMW turbocharger wastegate, part number 7605794. Also replaces OEM numbers 7646093 and 7605047. This wastegate was removed from a donor vehicle and is for the 4.4L V8 turbocharged engine family (N63). The wastegate regulates exhaust flow to control turbocharger boost pressure; a failed unit can cause overboost, underboost, or a check engine light.
