This left and rear mounting plate also supersedes part numbers 8E0512149M, 8E0512149N, and 8E0512149Q. It sits atop the coil spring, isolating the chassis from road impacts and preventing noise or vibration transfer. When this plate cracks or wears, you may hear a clunking sound from the suspension or notice uneven tire wear.
