This is a used OEM BMW Vacuum Control Valve, part number 7560946, also known as 7604055. This valve manages vacuum flow for the engine's intake and emissions systems. On these 3.0-liter N52 and N54 inline-six engines, a failed valve can cause rough idle, reduced brake booster assist, or check engine lights for vacuum leaks. It must be installed by a qualified shop or dealer.
