This used OEM BMW Windshield Washer Reservoir / Tank, part number 7117842, also replaces 7238668, 7117843, and 0412002. It holds the washer fluid and houses the pump that sprays the windshield. When this tank cracks or develops a leak, you may notice fluid pooling under the car or a low-washer-fluid warning light that won't clear.
